今年美國台灣兩邊都有總統大選.沸沸洋洋之際,我發現一些很有趣的規定.

台灣使用選舉權的法定年齡是二十歲.抽煙喝酒的法定年齡是十八歲.

美國使用選舉權的法定年齡是十八歲.抽煙喝酒的法定年齡是二十一歲.

是什麼樣的司法.文化及歷史背景造就這樣相反的法律規定呢?真是有趣的現象,提出來讓大家一起動動腦.(我也還在思考研究中...)
